Buttons Kaluhiokalani, considered to be the innovator of modern-day surfing, has joined Kahuna Creations to help spread the love of board riding.
Kahuna Creations recently celebrated its partnership with Kaluhiokalani with a fun day at Sunset Beach.
“Buttons was incredible,” said Steve McBride, founder and rider of Kahuna Creations in a press release.
“He taught fans how to surf and ride the Kahuna Big Stick land paddle. Buttons spread the absolute love of riding a board. We love Buttons and his pure love of life.”
Kahuna Creations shapes surfboards, skateboards and snowboards as well as accessories and apparel.
During this shaping process, Kahuna Creations pays tribute to the ancient Hawaiian board riders by fusing the soul of surfing and Hawaiian spirit into all of its products.
