Juan Perez put Cane Fire up over Hanalei in the Kaua‘i Mens Soccer League, last week.
But Hanalei answered with three goals to take the final KMSL game, 3-1 over Cane Fire at Vidinha Stadium.
Colby Ayonon answered the Perez goal to knot the score 1-1 at the half. Ayonon closed the evening with an assist to Cola Lindman for Hanalei’s final goal in the win.
Chono Fernandez got an assist from Crissy Marti to break the 1-1 halftime deadlock in the second half.
The Kaua‘i Cup Playoffs start this Sunday when the No. 2 Afterburners play No. 3 Cane Fire starting at 4 p.m.
Top seeded Hanalei will go up against No. 4 Kryptonite starting at 6 p.m.
Finals for the Kaua‘i Cup will be played on June 8.
