Lee Anson Leonard “Liko” Villatora of Lihu‘e died on Nov. 11, 2006, at the age of 33.
Born in Lihu‘e, on Oct. 18, 1973, he was employed by Unlimited Construction as the assistant superintendent.
He is survived by daughter Lyric Kailani Riso-Villatora; sons Oviri Makai Avaeoru-Villatora and Triton Aito Avaeoru-Villatora; parents Leonora Alama and Victoriano Villatora; 12 siblings, Christoper (Diane) Villatora of Kalaheo, Geneva Villatora of Texas, Leonora Ann (Norman) Luczon of Koloa, Peter (Jennifer) Villatora of Maui, Cecelia (Richard) Gomez of Ha‘ena, Joseph (Hidemi) Villatora of the Philippines, Robert Villatora of Oregon, Philip Villatora of Lihu‘e, Victoria (Nelson) Gabriel of Kalaheo, John (Kathleen) Villatora of Guam, Bernadette (Allen) Perreira of Oregon, Christine (Mark) Aqui of Kapa‘a; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, Nov. 17, from 9 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church where Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m.

Denji Murayama
Denji Murayama of Lihu‘e died Nov. 13, 2006, at his home at the age of 87.
Born March 7, 1919, in Hule‘ia, he was a retired fireman.
Preceded in death by his daughter Rosetia Murayama, he is survived by his wife Masako Murayama of Lihu‘e; two sons, Calvin (Mary) Murayama of Texas and Alan (Diane) Murayama of Honolulu; daughter Jeanette Lopez of Lihu‘e; sister Lily Morinaka; grandchildren, Robin, Francis, Shanlyn, Boyd, Conrad, Miles, Nathan and Calvin; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Justin, Kekoa, Joshua, Ashley Makena, Keira and Koa; nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 20, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihue Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
Pamela Jean Cole
Pamela Jean Cole of Kalaheo died at her home on Nov. 14, 2006, at the age of 46.
Born Aug. 16, 1960, in Los Angeles, Calif., she was a devoted mother to daughters Julie (Joe) Hepa, Jennifer Cole-Conner (Kaioli Acoba) Ashley Cole-Conner (Brian Oliver) and son Kalin Cole-Benedict, all of Kaua‘i. She is also survived by parents Calvin and Valerie Cole of Auburn, Calif.; brother David (Christina) Cole of Kaua‘i, sister Debbie Casner of Meridian, Calif., and Michelle (Tom) Buntt of Nevada, Calif.; granddaughters Kahyalei and Kahylie-Rose Hepa and grandson Kahnnah, and was anticipating the birth of another grandchild next April. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She had lived on the Westside since 1996 and was involved in numerous fund-raising events. A memorial service will be held at the Old Koloa Church on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m.
Anabelle Santos
Anabelle “Ana” Dichoso Santos of Koloa died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Nov. 14, 2006.
She was born July 25, 1929, in Solsona, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
Preceded in death by her husband Cresente Santos Sr. and son Eulalio “Ben” Santos; parents Catalino and Toribia Dichoso; and sister Edie (Fred) Laniz, she is survived by three sons, Cresente Santos Jr. of Puhi, Glenn (Leilani) Santos of Koloa and Christopher Santos of Tennessee, and one daughter Julie (Ron) Valencia of Lihu‘e; grandchildren, Christina Bondag, Tanya (Aquarius) Kalama, Sophia (Bodwell) Santos, Kaitlin Santos, Kaylah Santos and Reece Valencia; great-grandchildren Sanoe Kalama, Aukahi Kalama, Alokele Kalama, Matthew Santos, Christine Santos and Travis Bodwell; sisters, Cornelia (Ponga) Cua of the Philippines and Rose (Artemio) Melchor of ‘Oma‘o; and numerous other relatives.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, at Koloa Church in Koloa, where services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Koloa Public Cemetery.

Hitoshi Nakashima
Hitoshi “Hito” Nakashima of Anahola died at Garden Isle Health Care on Nov. 11, 2006, at the age of 82.
Born on Jan. 29, 1924, in Ko‘olau, he worked as maintenance personnel with Kauai Surf, Islander on the Beach and retired from Kauai Coconut Beach Hotel.
He is survived by his longtime companion Karen Iida; four children, Dennis Nakashima, Gerald (Amy) Nakashima, Jorene (Guy) Solusod and Elden Nakashima; three brothers, Satoru Nakashima of Waipahu, Sueo (Retha) Nakashima of Camas, Wash., and Robert (Clorinda) Nakashima of Kilauea; three sisters, Estella Benefield of San Clemente, Calif., Motome (Rosie) Matsuzaki of Pearl City and Audrey (Terry) Yagihara of Kilauea; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, at Lihue Christian Church from 9:30 a.m. and services at 10:30. Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

John Manguchei
John Manguchei of Kapa‘a died Nov. 6, 2006, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 88.
Born April 17, 1918, in Hawai‘i, he was a service truck driver for the County of Kaua‘i.
He is survived by his daughter Jo Anne Manguchei; three sons, Neil Manguchei, Kenneth (Ilima) Manguchei and David Manguchei; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister Kelly McGill and brother Basilio Manguchei; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, at St. Catherine Church in Kapa‘a, where Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. by Father Al.
Burial will be at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
Casual attire is suggested.
