Kaimana Dias-Duque
Kaimana Larry Dias-Duque of Lihue, died Nov. 1, 2004, at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children at the age of 2.
Born Nov. 18, 2001, in Lihu‘e, he is survived by his mother: Jessica Dias of Lihu‘e; father: Justin Duque of Puhi; maternal grandmother: Donna Dias of Lihu‘e; maternal grandfather: Dennis Baxter of Honolulu; maternal great-grandmother: Corliss Dias of Wailua; paternal grandparents: Larry and Lona Duque of Puhi; paternal great grandparents; Lono and Frances Fu of Anahola; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 15, at 9 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo. Services at 11 a.m., burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
Kaoru Kurashige
Kaoru Kurashige of Lihu‘e, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Nov. 11, 2004 at the age of 84.
Born in Kilohana Camp, Kaua‘i, he was a retired auto mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Tsuyuko; two sons, Roland Kurashige of Honolulu and Stanley (Kaymi) Kurashige of Kapa‘a; two daughters, Linda (Bruce) Sansui and Stella (Gerald) Haraguchi, both of Hilo; four grandchildren; three brothers, Isamu (Jane) Kurashige, Tadasu Kurashige and Shigeru (Hiroko) Kurashige; sister, Hideko (Charles) Mumaw; numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14, at the Lihue Hongwanji Mission; service officiated by Rev. Motoyoshi will begin at 4 p.m. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.
