Sebastian E. (Orquio) Ipac, originally of Kapa‘a, died Aug. 29, 2004, in the Philippines.
Born Jan. 1, 1931, he is survived by sisters Sally (Rene) Aglibot of California, Consolacion (Charles) Agustin of California, Carmen (David) Yata of Kapa‘a; Emeteria (Constantino) Aglibot of Manila, Philippines and Linda (Marcelino) Alejo of Nueva Ecija, Philippines; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Services were held in the Philippines.
Yuriko Tasaka
Yuriko Nagoshi Tasaka of Lihu‘e, died on Nov. 10, 2004, at Queen’s Medical Center, at the age of 78.
Born in Makaweli, on April 21, 1926, she is survived by sons, Wallis-Riki (Diane Shiraki) Tasaka of Honolulu and Wade (Helen Masuda) Tasaka of Honolulu; daughter, Dale (Steven) Kegley of Honolulu; brothers, Kunio Nagoshi of Honolulu, Richard Nagoshi of Kaua‘i, and Douglas Nagoshi of Las Vegas; sisters, Evelyn Matsumoto of Honolulu, Aster Tateishi of Kaua‘i and Charlotte Nagoshi of Honolulu and Vivian Morimoto of Los Angeles. She is also survived by one grandchild.
Memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, at Lihue United Church , 4340 Nawiliwili Road in Lihu‘e. Burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Kauai Veterans Cemetery. The family suggests casual attire and asks that flowers be omitted.
