Tomiko Hamano
Tomiko Hamano went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2004, at the age of 72.
She was born in Tokyo on Oct. 4, 1931. She is survived by two sons: Duane (Sammee) Albano of Kilauea and Alan Albano of Yokohama, Japan; and one daughter: Janet (Anthony) Howser of Honolulu; and five grandchildren.
Tomiko moved to Kauai in June 2003, where she accepted Jesus as her Lord. She publicly declared her faith when she was baptized at Lydgate Park. Her friends and family will be meeting together for a celebration of her life at Lihu‘e Missionary Church, 4383 Rice St., on July 11, at 4 p.m.
Casual attire is suggested.

Born May 23, 2004, in Laupahoehoe, he is survived by his mother: Amber Kahealani Alapa‘i formerly of Hanalei and now of Laupahoehoe, father: Alyrio Cova of Brazil, grandfather, Allen B. Alapa‘i, grandmother B.C. Virginia Harwood, grandmother Antoinette Kahili Alapa‘i, sister Hinu Lilian Cova, uncles Ali‘i and Aikane Alapa‘i, aunt Ashley K. Alapai, numerous cousins and family.
Services will be on Sunday, July 11, at 11 a.m. at Hanalei Pier.
The family suggests casual attire and requests that flowers be omitted.
