Walter Ishii, of Kapa’a, Kaua’i died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on March 30, 2001, at the age of 72.
Born in Honolulu, O’ahu on Aug. 8, 1928, he was a retired groundskeeper with TRW in California.
He is survived by: his wife: Michi Ishii of Kapa’a; daughter: Cynthia (Eddie) Morris of Los Angeles, Calif., brother: Roger (Florence) Ishii of Honolulu, O’ahu; four sisters: Jean (Tom) Uchiyama of Gardena, Calif., Doris (Tsuneo) Watanabe, Janet (James) Kobayashi, and Norma Kahalewai, all of Honolulu, O’ahu; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service has been scheduled at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 6, at the Lihu’e Hongwanji Mission; with service officiated by Rev. Yukiko Motoyoshi. Casual attire is suggested and that flowers be omitted.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.

Clint Phelps Spencer of Wainiha, Kaua’i, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on March 26, 2001, at the age of 53.
Born in New York, New York on April 1, 1947, he was a retired Stage Director.
He is survived by: his domestic Partner: Maka Gilless of Wainiha, Kaua’i; mother: Rene Spencer; brother: Jim (Shelly) Spencer of Kilauea, Kaua’i; sister: Mary-ann Spencer of Pasadena, Calif.; three nieces and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 7, at the Church of the Pacific at Princeville. Casual attire is suggested and that flowers be omitted.

Arsenio Cristobal
Arsenio Tabelisma Cristobal of ‘Ele’ele, Kaua’i died March 28, 2001, at Kaua’i Veterans Memorial Hospital, at the age of 90.
Born Aug. 25, 1910, in the Philippines, he was a retired truck driver for Kaua’i Commercial Company.
He is survived by his wife: Fausta Bonachita Cristobal of ‘Ele’ele, Kaua’i; four sons: Roland (Carol) Cristobal of Kapa’a, Kaua’i; Steven (Laura) Cristobal of Wailua, Kaua’i; Blaine (Maragarethe) Cristobal of Waikiki, O’ahu; Darian (Lori) Cristobal of ‘Ele’ele, Kaua’i; one daughter: Rosalyn (Paul) Ribucan of Koloa, Kaua’i, eight grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, April 7, at the ‘Ele’ele Sacred Hearts Church from 9 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. by Father Keahi. Burial to follow at the Filipino Public Cemetery in Hanapepe.
