Upsets were the order of the day in the Under 18 age divisions as the No. 2 seed Futsal Kauai blanked the top seeded Rush Kauai, 3-0 in the Girls Under 18 title match.
In the Boys Under 18 title game, the No. 2 seeded Rush needed two overtime periods to get past top seeded Po‘ohala, 2-1.
Another upset took place in the Girls Under 10 matchup when the second seeded Futsal Kauai got past the top seeded Rush Premier, 5-3. Sienna Yamashita had the hot foot for Futsal in that matchup, getting a goal and two assists to give the yellowshirts a 3-2 advantage at the break.
Lohgan Hanna and Chloe Ayonon did the honors to keep the Rush Premier in the hunt.
Top seeded Futsal Kauai took the Boys Under 10 title behind a 5-3 win over the second seeded Kilauea who earlier edged out Kaleimanu Koolau, 1-0 in a shootout.
Futsal Kauai in the Girls Under 12 division was a 3-1 winner over No. 2 seed Eastside United, and on the Boys Under 12 field, No. 3 seeded Hanalei FC was a 5-2 winner for top seeded Keahi SC Puma.
Top seeded Lihue Arsenal FC was a 2-1 winner over Keahi SC in the Boys Under 14 age group, the the top seeded Kalaheo Fire claimed a 2-0 shutout over Team Onipa‘a in the Girls Under 14 division.
Po‘okela 16UH rounded out the day with a 2-1 win over Keahi 16UB in the Boys Under 16 age group.
