Happy birthday to Aika Funane, a Japanese collegiate engineering student, who celebrated her 18th birthday Friday while helping at the Elsie Wilcox Elementary School STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) night and enjoying pizza instead of birthday cake. She flashes a peace sign while standing before the city scape the students created and transformed into a virtual reality piece.

Happy birthday to Aika Funane, who celebrated her special day eating pizza instead of birthday cake at the Elsie Wilcox Elementary School Science Technology Engineering Math Night (kudos to Cory Nakamura and all the Wilcox School staff on a great event Friday night!).
