Aloha everyone. Here I am again with my composition at the first of the month. This has been 21 months already.
This time it’s about the beautiful city of San Francisco. My wife Gloria always made plumeria lei for visitors. So when I performed at the Palace of Fine Arts next to the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge, she could not find any plumerias. So instead she used the red fuchsias that were blooming everywhere. So that gave me another thought to write a song about the lei, and named it “My San Francisco Lei.”

My San Francisco Lei with flowers of love Red Fuchsias strung, resembles the sun.
This lei I give to you to last till morning due and I will be with you forever more.
Chorus: My San Francisco lei is waiting for you. With open arms I’m waiting for you.
Winds from across the sea, bring all the memories that used to be, just you and me.
My San Francisco Lei remains in my heart, and I recall you standing in the sun.
I told you with this leis means I’ll return someday, to my San Francisco Lei.
