Felix Constantino
Felix Subia Constantino of Kilauea, Kaua’i, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, on Aug. 24, 2001 at the age of 89.
Born in the Philippines, on March 14, 1912, he was a Watchman with Moanalua Gardens.
He is survived by his wife: Bernarda Dugay Constantino of Kilauea; six nephews: Frederick Constantino, John Constantino, Christopher Constantino, Filemon Aguinaldo all of Kilauea; Judge Artemio Baxa, Sr., and Arnold Bava both of Maui.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Sept. 8, at St. Sylvesters Catholic Church in Kilauea, from 8:30 a.m. mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at the Kilauea Public Cemetery. Casual Attire is suggested.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kaua’i Mortuary.
Raymond Peters, Sr.
Raymond K. Peters, Sr., of Honolulu, died Aug. 30, 2001 at Castle Medical Center.
Born on May 11, 1916, Retired from parks and recreation with the City and County of Honolulu.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Raymond Jr., Kaua’i, Roger, Raymond IV and Clyde; daughter, Yolanda; sisters, Leimomi Kau and Edna Shea; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Borthwick Mortuary, memorial service 11 a.m. Aloha attire.
Barbara Waalani
Barbara Mae Waalani of Lawa’i, Kaua’i, died on Aug. 31, 2001, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, at the age of 54.
Born in Lihu’e, Kaua’i, on Aug. 26, 1947. She was Vice President of Waalani Enterprises LLC.
Preceded in death by her father: Adam Brun, sister: Grace Brun, and brother-in-law: Richard Nawai, Sr. she is survived by her husband: Richard “Ricky” Waalani Sr., two daughters: Rileene Waalani of Lawa’i; Renae (Bud Akana) Waalani; two sons: Richard Waalani, Jr.; Ryan (Theresa Malloy) Waalani; mother: Daisy (Lawrence) Vidinha; two brothers: Adam “Ronnie” Brun, Sr.; Patrick (Helen) Brun; six sisters: Marjorie (William) Cerny; Adele (Albert) Braun; Linda Nawai; Anthonella (Carl) Schumacher; Maryann (Wesley) Yorkman; Lexandra (Randall A. Cummings) Borengasser, granddaughters: Kelsie Waalani, Charissa Waalani, Tristen Akana, Cayla Akana, grandsons: Joshua Waalani-Matsusaka, Kaulana Waalani-Arroyo; numerous nieces and nephews.
