KAPAA-Joy Graham scored 11 of her game-high 19 points in the decisive second period to lead the Kalani Lady Falcons over the host Warriors in preseason junior varsity action Thursday night by the score of 58-40.
Facing a 38-14 deficit at intermission, Kapaa clawed its way back to outscore the visitors 26-20 in the second half of play.
Warrior sophomore guard Sandy Pimental contributed a team-high 12 points while team-mates Eliza Vicoy and Pilialoha Keaweamahi chipped in with 6 apiece.
Batoon ended up with 18 points for the visitors from the Oahu Interscholastic Federation.
