Genevieve Carvalho Rapozo of Lihu’e, Kaua’i, died on March 3, 2002, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, at the age of 68.
Born in Hanama’ulu, Kaua’i, on May 16, 1933. She was a waitress.
She is survived by her husband: Albert F. Rapozo of Lihu’e; one son: Alan R. Rapozo of O’ahu; three daughters: Deborah J. (Dennis) Blackford of Lihu’e; Nancy M. Rapozo (Roy Higa) of Wailua; Betty J. (Rowland) Wong of Kilauea; five grandchildren: Brandon & Whitney Wong of Kilauea; Kiley Momohara of Wailua; Sierra & Shawna Blackford of Lihu’e; two sisters: Mary Pico of CA; Dorothy Medieros of O’ahu; sister-in-law: Mary Carvalho of O’ahu; one aunty: Joaquina Eulalio of Lihu’e, many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, March 12, at Immaculate Conception Church from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. by Father Paul. Burial to follow at Kaua’i Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe. Casual attire is suggested.

Charlotta “Carlota” Travaso of Hanama’ulu, Kaua’i, died on March 2, 2002, at Queens Hospital, at the age of 85.
Born in Lihu’e, Kaua’i, on Oct. 17, 1916, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons: Joseph “Puncho” (Mildred) Travaso of Kane’ohe; Donald Travaso of Hanama’ulu; one daughter: Geraldine Duarte of Hanama’ulu; one brother: Mike Santiago, 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, March 9 at Immaculate Conception Church from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. by Father Paul. Burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

Mildred Yoshiko Takahashi Lee of Kapa’a, Kaua’i, died on March 1, 2002, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, at the age of 72.
Born in Honolulu, O’ahu, on Aug. 15, 1929, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband: Lawrence (Larry Sr.) M. Lee; five daughters: Sandra (Keith); Patricia (Gray); Anne (Calvin); Kiki; Diane (Calvin), 12 grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, March 7, at the Kapa’a Ward II Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, from 9 a.m. Services to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Burial on a latter date. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.

Hanako Nakamichi
Hanako Mizutani Nakamichi of Hilo, Hawai’i, formerly of Kaua’i, died at Life Care Center of Hilo, on Feb. 19, 2002, at the age of 101.
Born on Kaua’i, on Feb. 17, 1901, she was a retired personal maid.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Private Memorial services will be held.
