HILO — Sophomore setter Desiree Agader of Kekaha was selected the Pacific West Conference Player of the Week for the first week of September, having posted 112 assists in two matches.
She registered 51 in University of Hawai‘i at Hilo’s 3-1 victory over St. Martin’s College and 61 in a 5-2 win over Central Washington University.
Agader graduated from Waimea High School in 2006 and earned three letters in volleyball under coach Chad Delanoza.

Iseri-Carvalho
U-Know improved its standing to 8-0 in the Lihu‘e 35+ slow pitch league.
That undefeated streak was kept alive when U-Know edged Iseri-Carvalho, 6-4 in the final of three games played Tuesday at the Isenberg field.
With the loss Iseri-Carvalho slips to 5-3 below Hana Hou who sits at 6-2 following its 18-7 win over Doo Doo Boys, Tuesday night.
Plus 35, following Iseri-Carvalho at 3-4-1, is just a tad ahead of Universal who sits in the standings at 2-4-1. Plus 35 blanked Da Cowboys, 11-0.
Doo Doo Boys, 1-7, and Da Cowboys, 0-7, round out the standings.
Games are played at Isenberg Park on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting at 6 p.m.
