Kapa‘a High School girls basketball player Sierra Summer, being encouraged to score throughout Wednesday night, passes out of a scoring window under Waimea pressure. Summer finally scored to the thrill of her fanbase in the final quarter, getting a point out of a charity pair.

The Kapa‘a High School girls basketball team sang a song following a win over Waimea High School during the team’s final home game at Bernice Hundley Gym.

Last chance to get your golf ball drop ticket is on Saturday when Kaleo Carvalho, he’s the Kaua‘i High School Project Grad chairperson, takes his place on the table next to the entrance of the new Kaua‘i High School gym when the Island School boys basketball program (Judge Kathleen Watanabe wants to watch those games, said Cyndi Ayonon of the Kaua‘i Filipino Chamber of Commerce) comes to play the Red Raiders. Kaleo (how many games have you missed because you were selling golf ball drop tickets?) said the actual golf ball drop takes place Sunday morning (see what I mean about last chance?). Of course, all proceeds go to benefit the Kaua‘i High School Project Grad. And no, there is no golf tournament connected to the ball drop.
