So, is “Happy Feet” going to be the Saturday night movie night at Kukui Grove Center coordinated by Kaua‘i High School students? Melissa McFerrin Warrack of Kukui Grove said the support for movie night is always strong when the schools get involved. Any other school want to take on the challenge?
And, the January being Mu‘umu‘u Appreciation Month gets highlighted when the Kaua‘i Historical Society presents its Pa‘ina at Smith’s Tropical Paradise on Sunday when the gates open at 11 a.m. Barbara Green is excited to see what kind of mu‘umu‘u designs come out of the design contest presented by Carol Yotsuda and the Garden Island Arts Council (did you check out the display at Lihu‘e Airport?) … it’s a good thing the Wailua Bay Creators Fair is taking a break for January and February.
