Gretchen Hashimura, of the Hawai‘iUSA Foundation Board, said the purchase of Imua Blend (available either whole bean or ground in two flavors, Full City or French Roast) helps provide critical clinical therapies and fundamental play-based activities for Maui children that have been severely impacted by the wildfires. The services are provided by the nonprofit Imua Family Services, which is dedicated to helping Maui’s families and children rediscover their joy.
Tracie Victorino said the coffee, which is a collaborative partnership between Maui ‘Oma, Imua Family Services, and the Hawai‘iUSA, actually tastes pretty good.
With origins in Brazil, Sumatra, and Maui, Imua Blend is the product of Maui ‘oma’s more than 25 years of experience in the coffee industry. Sounds a lot like the Thunder Chicken coffee that is a benefit for Kaua‘i Robotics, and a reminder that Rainbeau Jo’s has a special house blend, too.
