LIHU‘E — A missed first attempt at 4 feet, 8 inches was the difference between getting the nod for sole first place for Kapa‘a High School athlete Kanoe Haneberg, who finished in a tie with Island School’s Noemie Sanchez in the girls high jump at the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation Qualifying Track and Field Meet No. 4 at Vidinha Stadium.
