Bill Moore, visiting from Oregon, is sworn in as the latest Mokihana Menehune Ali‘i by Past District Governor Lion Roy Nishida on Thursday during the East Kaua‘i Lions Club meeting, where he was nominated for the honor by Lion Janice Bond, who still has $2 bills for Tail Twister Past District Governor Kelvin Moniz.

Kudos, Kaua‘i Construction Career Day co-chair Laura Cushnie, and the many hands (more than 40 exhibits!) involved in hosting the daylong career day at Kaua‘i Community College in Puhi, where students in the trades classes could not only present information, but had time to explore the different areas of the construction industry.
