LIHU‘E — The Smith’s Tropical team of Kaleo Smith, Tyler Smith, Trey Smith, and Juanito Rabaino carded a net 41 to win the YWCA of Kaua‘i Never Forget Sandy G golf tournament, Sunday at the Modified Foursome play at Ocean Course Hokuala.
LIHU‘E — The Smith’s Tropical team of Kaleo Smith, Tyler Smith, Trey Smith, and Juanito Rabaino carded a net 41 to win the YWCA of Kaua‘i Never Forget Sandy G golf tournament, Sunday at the Modified Foursome play at Ocean Course Hokuala.
The 41 total for the Smith’s Tropical Team was three strokes better than the Fore, Right team of Jared Sunada, Alan Balocan, Nino Abrigo, and Darin Fukushima that carded a 44, three strokes off the pace. The 44 also resulted in a two-way tie for second place with the BSF Flooring team of Brant Fuchigami, Tori Miyazaki, Troy Sakaguchi, and Jesse Guirao.
Team Tire Warehouse with Sharron Weber, Carol Pratt, Kathy Richardson and Melissa Kiewit broke up a four-way tie at 49 to claim the top wahine team honor. Other teams in the 49 tie included the Beach House, Bushido, and Fake It Till We Make It.
The Never Forget Sandy G golf tournament celebrated its 15th year when the shotgun start sent a sold-out field of 144 golfers onto the Ocean Course Hokuala with the proceeds benefiting the different YWCA of Kaua‘i programs.
