Harry K. Kamoku
Harry K. Kamoku, 87, of Kapa‘a, passed away on March 1, 2021, at Kaua‘i Care Center in Waimea. He was born on Molokai on Feb. 28, 1934, and was an entertainer at Smith’s Motor Boat Service.
He was preceded in death by parents Herman and Julia Kamoku and grandson Gavin Hernaez.
He is survived by wife Frances Kamoku, children Halan (Sonny) Kamoku Fernandez, Lana (Herman) Hernaez, Ipo (Dana) Kamoku De Mello, Francine Kamoku, Emma Kaili, Keith (Teri) Contrades, Rowenna (Mike) Pangan, Rhonda (Jeffery) Garcia and Craig Contrades, sister Malia Olaso, brother Douglas Kamoku, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life is Sunday April 18, from noon to 5 p.m. at Anahola Market Place.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Fred Koji Teramoto Sr.
Fred Koji Teramoto Sr., 79, of Lihu‘e, passed away peacefully at home on March 31, 2021. He was born in Honolulu on Nov. 28, 1941. He was a special education teacher at Ka‘ewai Elementary School.
He was preceded in death by first wife Lianne “Mama Lee” Teramoto, and daughter Kiyoko Teramoto.
He is survived by wife Felicidad Teramoto, children Cheryl (Eddie) Ambrocio, Fred K. Teramoto Jr., Wellington Teramoto, Corinne Teramoto, Cindy (Paul) and Bronson (Malia) Teramoto, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date.

Eduvijes ‘Vijes’
Dumayas Patinga
Eduvijes “Vijes” Dumayas Patinga passed away on April 1, 2021, at the age of 103. She was born in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on Dec. 20, 1917, and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by parents Inoncencio and Antonia Dumayas, husband Vicente Patinga, children Vicenta P. Castillo, Flora P. Alfonso, Bernarda P. Ingeniero, Federico Patinga, Marciana Patinga and Constantino Patinga.
She is survived by daughters Norma (Eleuterio) Butay and Helen (Nolie) Coma, sons Rex (Nelda) Patengga, Pedro Patingga, Alfonso (Margarita) Patinga, 44 grandchildren and 78 great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 16, at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary chapel in Koloa. A walk-thru visitation is from 10 to 11:30 a.m., followed by a blessing.
Due to COVID-19, seating is limited. Social distancing and face masks are required.
A private burial will take place.
