On Jan. 20, things change dramatically for Trump

In spite of relentless voter suppression forced into place by Republicans, including the deliberate sabotage of the U.S. Postal Service, (by the soon-to-be-unemployed Postmaster General Louis DeJoy), President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris will have received about five million more votes than Donald Trump when the counting is over.

Secretary Clinton received about three million more votes than Trump in 2016, so the “Trump majority” talked about by his supporters was always fiction. Trump and the people around him will try to convince themselves that Trump actually won the election, but all of that noise and the specious lawsuits will amount to nothing.

Trump is a loser, but he is very unlikely to ever admit that or even concede the election. His life’s work is lying, and there’s no indication that he will ever change his behavior.

The unfortunate reality for Trump is that his business has been failing since he took office, so there’s a hot mess for him to go back to on Jan. 20. His golf courses are losing money now at a fantastic rate, and his hotels are operating at a loss. His commercial office buildings are suffering from rent loss due to the raging pandemic. How’s that for karma?

Since starting his first campaign for president, more buildings have had the Trump name chiseled off than have added it on. That’s happening as a debt payment of more than $350 million is coming due to Deutsche Bank (no U.S. bank would lend him money) on loans that Trump personally guaranteed.

Trump wrote off the business of more than half of the United States with his mean spirit, indifference to the damage he was causing, malicious ignorance and incompetence. While Trump was in office, there was some glimmer of hope for his business because Trump’s remarkable corruption encouraged governments and individuals to patronize his properties in exchange for access to the president. That will end abruptly on Jan. 20.

Also on Jan. 20, Trump loses protection from the taxpayer-funded, Justice-Department effort to shield Trump from multiple personal lawsuits. Jan. 20 also brings the loss of immunity from prosecution for crimes against the various states for tax and other financial crimes. A federal pardon will not shield him from state prosecutions.

Speaking of Trump’s incompetence, another 1,200 Americans will die today from COVID-19, so, naturally, Trump is golfing. The wreckage of death and economic collapse he created means nothing to Trump.

When asked about President-elect Biden’s win, Trump insisted that Biden didn’t win. When the Biden campaign was asked about when would happen if Trump didn’t leave the White House on Jan. 20, the campaign spokesperson explained that the federal government is certainly capable of dealing with trespassers in government buildings — a great response.

Following his inauguration, Biden will be busy reversing many of the more-idiotic executive orders signed by Trump — a long list — and putting protections for water and air back in place. It’ll take some time to clean up Trump’s trash. President Biden will also have to work at fumigating the Justice Department and other agencies corrupted by Trump, and will work to reunite parents with the 545 children at the southern border that Trump made orphans.

Jared Kushner will be returning to his family business, where he spent the years before government service driving the company nearly into bankruptcy through his incompetent deal-making.

Most of Trump’s political appointees (with the exception of dedicated public servants like Christopher Wray) should all expect to have their desks cleaned out by the afternoon of Jan. 20. Good riddance to them. And good riddance to Donald Trump, the worst president ever.

The electoral votes are what counts in Presidential elections and you have always know this

Hillary Clinton and a few corrupt intel officials launched the Russia/Trump campaign collusion
hoax to divert attention from her home rewed server. We know this from the de classified personal notes of former CIA Director Brennan. That hoax led to the two year special counsel Mueller investigation that mostly led to indicting former Trump associates.

When the Russia collusion hoax failed, Democrats immediately launched an impeachment trial to remove President Trump. That also failed. The media played up all of these for the last four years, then suppressed the story of Joe Biden’s son Hunter being currently under FBI investigation for money laundering.

As far as coronavirus, Joe Biden ( and the World Health Organization) was against President Trump’s early travel restrictions against China. Joe needed approval from someone else before acting to try and save American lives.

ISIS beheadings and terrorizing ended, Arab nations are normalizing relations with Israel, Kim Jong Un stopped launching rockets etc. And before the self induced business shutdowns, the American economy was doing well with minorities gaining the most.
None of that happened under 8 years of the Obama/Biden administration.

The GOP gained seats in the House and retained key seats in the Senate despite millions spent by Democrats, and opposite of what pollsters said. The 2022 midterm results will be determined largely by what Biden/Harris can accomplish in that time. Fair enough?

So, for a recap…..a Multi millionaire, prior to becoming a politician, leaves office after 4 years, and needs to step up his game with is business, after focusing his attention on being a politician for the first time?????? Did I get that right?

Sounds like that should be “Standard Practice” for every politician in Congress. Serve the people for a term or 2, then go back to your career.

Naaaaaaa, better to get elected, pretend a member of Congress is like the SCOTUS….for life! Become a millionaire while in Congress, and kick back and pretend you work for a living. Biden, Pelosi, Waters, Jackson come to mind. Stop the madness!

When all this gets settled in court Trump will be proven to be the true winner! You all would take it to court if it was flipped around and Trump won by such a small percentage. If you all really want the truth you should listen to the people online getting censored and stop obsorbing the main seven news networks that all sound the same and are the real bias in this country. 2020 is Trump s!!

Positive things that happened during Trump’s term in office that he had nothing to do with, or that he signed his name to only, fits right in to **his** definition of false news. Give him credit where it’s due: for all the damage he’s caused.

And good riddance to the 47% of the population who voted for him?

It is my opinion that most of those people voted for him due to his policies, not for his mannerisms. It was very clear from the beginning what his policies were and he stuck with them. Unfortunately Trump’s character flaws failed him…. and the country. But those who backed Trump and his policies, despite these issues, still do share his same values. Should we disrespect them too as Trump did to the left?

And now we have Biden and Harris. My guess is the powerful will be whispering policies in their ears and things will return back to normal.

What utter nonsense, Kurt. All of “wreckage” is all Trump’s fault? Let’s be clear the lock-downs and other authoritarian trashing of the constitutional rights of Americans came at the hands of state and local governments and their low IQ mentality. Their irrational one size fits all, non-targeted approaches have created the real wreckage and ruined thousands of businesses and individuals.

Kurt, you are clearly deluded but thanks to your dishonest media, you are not alone in your Trump obsessed world. Trump will not be in any trouble, and no, the corporate media does not get to decide elections here or anywhere in the world. Even if Trump did lose, he would never go away and start a new streaming network. There would be no pardon, no trial, no nothing, because he did nothing wrong except make fun of bitter liberals on Twitter, which as far as I know, is free speech, and also funny to anyone with a sense of humor. I do know that there is millions to be made on getting the false hopes of Trump being in any kind of trouble to leftist dupes such as yourself.

Mr. Kurt Last shows us a prime example of why our country is so divided. Like most others who share an opinion about our President the way he has chosen, it builds and creates the hostility of division that he wishes and hopes to share with others who think and act the same way. People who think and act the same way will never understand or see how our country can be any other way.

There’s no doubt anymore that trump and trumpism gave his followers, and a good many others, permission and example to be uncivil, to unleash the “other” angels and bury the better ones. Losers and suckers, s—hole countries, beating up folks at rallies (“l’ll pay your legal bills”) …stand by Proud Boys. And it was borne out in policy (Muslim bans, child separations) and deeds (support for white supremacy, winking at hate groups like the Klan and neo-nazis). The Southern Poverty Law Center keeps track of hate crimes in the country, and hate crimes spiked under Trump. So those of you still allowing yourselves to vent these ad hominem tantrums, this name calling, this white hot rage and hate (MAHA anyone?) it’s long past time to recall Lincoln’s words after a long ago election: if nothing else and no matter if your man won or didn’t, it’s time to give the better angels some air.

Yes but now he’s veered from sabotaging transition efforts like a petulant 6th grader to firing the nation’s national security leaders and trying to burn the house down—orders of magnitude more dangerous. And how irresponsible of McConnell, Graham, Cruz and that cohort of miserable flag-pin wearing reprobates. Not satisfied with 200+ federal judges, their dream tax break for the 1% and cheating their way to a SCOTUS majority they now want to poison the well for the new team—the ones already saddled with a ruined economy, exploded deficit and out of control pandemic. Sounds like a replay of 2008…except with a deadly macchiavellian madman at the tiller.

And as for those of you who voted for Trump in 2016, and supported his corruption for the past 4 years…we’re not going to forget who you are. You will NEVER live this down. Hey Jake, I really have to wonder if the letter you wrote was under the influence of something. This is a scary letter to me. So much hate and name calling. You need to get a hold of yourself and calm down. This is not making the world a better place! I suggest some anger management counseling! Obviously we have a divided country which has been the case for about 10 years now…but at what point do we come to the realization that we are better off finding common ground and love for country and our neighbor? We have enough adversary’s outside of our country! Let’s try to heal and look harder for common ground than focusing on what divides us. It’s such a better way to live! We will all feel much lighter than to carry around the heavy weight of hate! And our children will feel that and maybe they could carry that on in to the next generation rather than a divided country. None of us will get our own way all the time, find a way to make it work that will bring you peace and joy!

That is why a divided country is not good for anybody.

So deliciously enjoyable to see MAGAts so shocked and dismayed that their Dear Leader has betrayed them and lost to lefty socialist commie anti-American Chinese-loving voters who will ruin this great country!

Forget the rich got richer. Forget almost every one of Trump’s hapless supporters got poorer. Forget 240,000 citizens needlessly died of the Trump Virus. Forget the deficit was blown asunder even before Covid (thanks to the laughable Middle Class Tax Cut where 84% of cuts went to the 1% – and to massive/drop in corporate income taxes that were supposed to raise wages and add jobs – but neither happened, to no surprise to any economically-literate person). Forget the soon-to-be ex-President is a literal laughingstock to our allies – yet a big supporter of oligarchs and petty strongman Banana Republic tyrants. Forget the astounding level of corruption – literally hundreds of ‘only the best’ were found guilty of criminal activity and serving time behind bars, including his personal attorney who facilitated payments to some of the call girls he enjoyed with while married. Forget Dear Leader is personally indebted to our enemies, Russia and China, for hundreds of millions of dollars. Forget Dear Leader’s hotels and golf courses are chronic money losers (no surprise considering Dear Leader’s multiple bankruptcies) leaving him extremely vulnerable to pressure from the country’s foreign enemies who hold his debt. Forget the record unemployment caused by criminally incompetent handling of the pandemic. Forget that Trump will be the first President to ever leave office with fewer people employed than when he was elected.

Any sane, rational person see’s the past 4 years as a complete and utter disaster and we are pleased to see the biggest loss for any President in history – over 5M more votes more for ByeDon.

While MAGAt supporters want to forget, 75M voters have not. And we will relentlessly hound and pursue the Orange Grifter until he’s safely ensconced in a prison cell with the Bubba’s for the rest of his stinking life.
