A taiko drumming lecture-demonstration and hands-on workshop for beginners of all ages will be presented by members of Taiko Kauai amongst the 88 Shrines of Lawai International Center from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The Taiko Kauai school of traditional Japanese drumming was established 18 years ago. The members offer this seventh annual and largest hands-on drumming experience on Kauai.
The suggested minimum donation is $10 prepaid and $20 at the door. Students and children are free.
Proceeds benefit the nonprofit center.
