KAPAA Portions of Kawaihau, Ohu and Hekili roads in Kapaa will be narrowed intermittently to one lane of traffic to allow Maui Kupono Builders to conduct road-reconstruction work, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., from today through Wednesday, Sept. 25, weekdays, weather permitting, the county announced in a news release.
KAPAA — Portions of Kawaihau, Ohu and Hekili roads in Kapaa will be narrowed intermittently to one lane of traffic to allow Maui Kupono Builders to conduct road-reconstruction work, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., from today through Wednesday, Sept. 25, weekdays, weather permitting, the county announced in a news release.
The construction schedule is:
• Kawaihau Road, from Laipo Road to Ka‘apuni Road, Sept. 16 to Sept. 20;
• Ohu Road on Sept. 23;
• Hekili Road, from Kawaihau Road to Haua‘ala Road, on Sept. 24 and Sept. 25.
One lane of alternating traffic will be open in both directions, with flaggers positioned at various points of the construction areas.
