Wainiha, Haena power to be out

WAINIHA Maintenance work on both the electric lines and tower in the Wainiha-Haena area has been scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 17. This will result in a temporary interruption of electric service for Kauai Island Utility Cooperative members in the area between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

WAINIHA — Maintenance work on both the electric lines and tower in the Wainiha-Haena area has been scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 17. This will result in a temporary interruption of electric service for Kauai Island Utility Cooperative members in the area between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Tree trimming will also be conducted in the area while this work is being done.

Affected KIUC members have been notified directly about the scheduled outage. KIUC asks for patience during this necessary maintenance work, and apologizes for any inconvenience it may cause.
