LIHUE — The public is invited to the State of the County address by Mayor Derek S. K. Kawakami on Thursday, March 14.
The event will be held at 8:30 a.m. at the Lihue Civic Center, Mo‘ikeha Courtyard.
This will be Kawakami’s first State of the County address as mayor of Kauai, something that he looks forward to.
“It is an honor and privilege to be addressing the County of Kauai and Niihau on this platform for the first time,” he said. “As one team, as one people, as one County of Kauai and Niihau, we will work together to address the needs most important for our community.”
