Marjorie Joyce Nunes 79 years old of Kalaheo and Eleele, Kauai, passed away on Sept. 18, 2016, at Samuel Mahelona Hospital.
Born on April 10, 1937 in Kauai, she was a retired bus driver from Yamaguchi bus service.
Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Octavia Nunes; 2 brothers, Robert and Timothy Nunes and son, Derek Farias.
Survived by her son, Stanley (Sherry) Farias; daughter, Caprice (Alex) Sagucio; 3) sisters, Mildred Orsatelli, Shirley Martin and Loretta Grace; 6 grandchildren, Gavin Sagucio, Kayla Sagucio, Seaton Farias, Levi Sagucio, Sailen Farias and Sylas Farias and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at Borthwick/Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 9 to 10 a.m. where memorial services will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Borthwick/Kauai Mortuary assisted the Nunes family with arraignments.
