Sachie Otoman
Sachie Otoman of Kekaha passed away on Sept. 8, 2016, at KVMH Long Term at the age of 88. Born on Nov. 15, 1927, in Waimea, Kaua’i she was a housewife.
She is preceded in death by Sherry Ann Otoman and Sidney Nishiyama; brother, Yonechi Nishiyama; and sisters, Yayo (Roy) Tanioka, Moyo (Marcelo) Rapanot and Chisae Nishiyama.
Sachie is survived by her husband, Cipriano Otoman; sons, Michael (Marynel) Otoman of Ewa, O’ahu, Gene (Elaine) Otoman of Waimea, Kaua’i, David Otoman of Kekaha, Kaua’i, and Joseph Otoman of Kekaha, Kaua’i; daughters, Judy (Guy) Fujita of Waimea, Kaua’i and Lisa (Robin) Murayama of Lihue, Kaua’i; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren & one great-great-grandchild.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. with services to begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be followed at the Kekaha Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested.

Marjorie Joyce Nunes
Marjorie Joyce Nunes 79 years old of Kalaheo and Eleele, Kauai. She passed away on Sept. 18, 2016, at Samuel Mahelona Hospital.
She was born on April 10, 1937, in Kauai she was a retired bus driver from Yamaguchi bus service.
Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Octavia Nunes, 2 brothers Robert & Timothy Nunes and son Derek Farias.
Survived by her son: Stanley (Sherry) Farias, daughter: Caprice (Alex) Sagucio, 3) sisters: Mildred Orsatelli, Shirley Martin & Loretta Grace, 6 grandchildren: Gavin Sagucio, Kayla Sagucio, Seaton Farias, Levi Sagucio, Sailen Farias & Sylas Farias & numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at Borthwick/Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 9 to 10 a.m. where memorial services will be celebrated at 10 a.m.

Yvonne Uilani Keoho
Yvonne Uilani Keoho of Hanamaulu passed away on Sept. 13, 2016, at home at the age of 64. She was born on Dec. 31, 1951, in Waimea, Kauai. Yvonne worked at Wal-mart as a fabric department associate and also a people greeter where she later retired. She was a seamstress and a crafter.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph Punilei Manini Sr and Beverly Ann Manini, her brother Hokulani Manini and her children’s father Albert K. Keoho Sr.
She is survived by two sons, Albert K. Keoho Jr of California , Philbert (Sherry) Keoho of Hanamaulu and one daughter Kimberly (Joey) Camelo of Hanamaulu; three brothers, Joseph P. Manini Jr, Elwood Manini, and Eben Manini; three sisters, Erna Kamibayashi, Clorinda Fiso, and Bonnyjean Manini; her Aunty Lynnette (Frank) Bukoski; six grandchildren Joenicia, Jonessalyn and Joleisha Camelo, Shyatesa, Lance and Lynden Lagundino-Keoho.
Her services will be on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lihue . Visit with family is at 9 a.m. and services to follow at 10 a.m.

Jose Edica Yadao
Jose Edica Yadao of Kapaa, Hawaii passed away on Sept.27, 2016, in Lihue. Born on Sept. 14, 1934, in Hanalei and was a diesel mechanic for Smith’s Motor Boats.
He is preceded in death by his father, Timoteo Yadao; mother, Eutropia Yadao; brothers, Bernard “Nado” Yadao, and Raymond “Mondo” Yadao; and sisters, Lourdes “Mary” Cabacungan, Esmenia “Essie” Belmonte, and Christina “Katy” Constantino.
Jose is survived by his wife, Jean Yadao; sons, Keith (Noel) Crozier of Oregon, Jose Yadao Jr. of San Jose, and Chad Yadao of Kapa’a; daughters, Darlene Gonsalves of Lihue, and Renee Yadao of Kalaheo; thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph “Juny” (Theresa) Yadao of Kilauea; sisters, Josephine “Sipen” (Vernon) Asuncion of Kilauea, and Frances “Ansing” (Modesto) Bilog of California; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with services to begin at 11 a.m. Internment will take place later at the Kauai Veteran’s Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested and flowers are welcomed.

Juanita (Tolbe) Eslit
Juanita (Tolbe) Eslit of Hanapepe, Hawaii passed away at the age of 87 on Sept. 16, 2016, at Kaua’i Care Center. Born on Aug. 25, 1929, in Lahaina Maui she was a Baggage Inspector with HPA.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Roberta Tayan Cabucos; father, Ramon Eslit; daughter, Stephanie Figueira; brothers, Don Eslit and Sencio Eslit; and sisters, Vicky Eslit, Melania Lebanon, Margie Kaai, and Katherine Sumilo.
Juanita is survived by her sons, Howard J. (Anna Marie) Tolbe of Ele’ele, and Brandon Tolbe of Massachusetts; daughters, Clara (Gary) Mackler of Lawai, and Colleen (Jovan) Bautista of Hanapepe; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; sister, Clara Tayan Eslit of Waianae; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at St. Raphael’s Church in Koloa. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. with Mass to follow at 10 a.m.
Casual attire is suggested and flowers are welcomed.
