Address drinking by young adults
It saddens us to read in the local Garden Isle newspaper about the tragic deaths of your youth of Kauai due to auto accidents. Yet, when we’re on island, we watch night after night young adults (often with children) sit on the Hoonani Road wall drinking alcohol then driving away.
We often wonder when they leave what may happen. Our question is why is this behavior, which threatens the lives of others, allowed by Kauai police?

Problems needs fixing, now
Unfortunately and as usual, there is no truth and no integrity that has been evidenced since or before 1959 Overthrow Take III.
Kauai was such a beautiful rare jewel before and especially when the Kauai bus was thought necessary aft Iniki winds of change presented. That anchor now dragging the island residents through the fee blender, bending over deeply not for islanders, but for the transient tourist dollar.
The unbelievable to reality. America soon needing to fess up and just maybe we will be done with politics and overkill military occupation. No annexation and clear, documented evidence Hawaii is not America and much much more.
Any questions about my manao I am happy to back up everything as truthful or it would never be printed. Find me on facebook.
Maybe there are individuals that would be interested in fixing these problems instead of remaining status quo.

Disappointed with water board appointment
With the appointment of Syngenta spokeswoman, Beth Tokioka, to the Water Board, the mayor has clearly demonstrated (1) who owns him and (2) his utter contempt for the people of Kauai who voted to curb the seed companies. This mayor is all about himself and desire for higher office.
