Yoon-ha gets her job back, Jung-woo’s dream wedding shattered

The first laboratory-confirmed case of Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) was on May 20 in South Korea. MERS is a viral respiratory illness which includes symptoms of fever, cough and shortness of breath. The damage has already been done in South Korea with tourism taking the biggest loss with empty restaurants, department stores and theatres, basically anywhere people would normally gather were near-empty like a ghost town as people feared the spread of MERS.

As of July 5, 33 have died from MERS in South Korea while 2,467 have been placed in isolation. The first case started in Seoul and has reached surrounding provinces. While it seems the government has it under control, on July 2 there were two new cases of MERS after four days of no new cases.
