Reymunda Apana
Reymunda “Mona” Apana of Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on November 21, 2013 at Samuel Mahelona Hospital at the age of 82. Born on March 14, 1931, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pablo & Victoria Amis; husband, Richard Apana; brothers, Victor Amis & Alfred Amis and sister, Elizabeth Alesna.
She is survived by her brother, Jose Ontoy, Kapaa; sister, Rose (Ernest) Paden, Koloa, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit the family on Friday December 20, 2013 at the Kapaa First Hawaiian Church. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., Service at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens. Casual attire is suggested.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Koloa, Kauai.
Peter Nakamura
Peter Nakamura of Kapaa, Kauai, passed away on November 25, 2013 at home at the age of 60. Born on July 17, 1953 in Hilo, he was a long-range planner with the County of Kauai.
Preceded in dead by his father, Henry “Hank” Nakamura.
He is survived by his mother, Doris Nakamura; brothers, Kent (Karen) Nakamura of Bethesda, MD and Galen (Nadine) Nakamura of Kapaa, HI; and nieces and nephews, Casey & Reis Nakamura, and Theresa & Christopher Nakamura.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at All Saint’s Episcopal Church in Kapaa from 9:00 am; service will begin at 11:00 am. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.

Donna Jean Fisher of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii, formerly of San Diego, California passed away on December 2, 2013 at the age of 88 at Regency at Puakea. Born on March 8, 1925 in Lawrence, Michigan. She was a homemaker
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl E. Johnson and John Fisher. She is survived by her son, Dale (Marie) Johnson, Seattle, Washington; daughter, Kathleen Johnson, Lawai, Kauai.
