KILAUEA — Normally closed on Mondays during the fall and winter months, Kaua‘i Mini Golf will open its doors on Oct. 31 for a special Halloween evening of “ghoulish golf” from 4 p.m to 9 p.m., a news release states.
All adults and keiki who show up in costume will get to play the 18-hole miniature golf course for free. Anyone who does not have a costume — resident or visitor — will get to play at the kama‘aina rate, the release states. All golf proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank.
Halloween decorations, goody bags and more surprises will highlight the event, which will run in conjunction with KMG’s month-long Holiday Food Drive from Oct. 15 to Nov. 15. Non-perishable food and cash donations will be accepted on-site during business hours, benefiting local food pantries.
Kaua‘i Mini Golf is located at 5-2723 Kuhio Highway in Kilauea, next door to Banana Joe’s.
