KHS hosts Victorian Tea Party

The Kaua‘i Historical Society announced it’s selling tickets to the Third Annual Victorian Tea Party, which will be held Sept. 9 at the Kilauea Estate of T. D. King, Jr.

Guests are requested to wear a festive hat and encouraged to dress in Victorian and Edwardian attire, according to the release.

The Kaua‘i Historical Society Victorian Tea Party affords the ladies of Kaua‘i and their guests a chance to spend an afternoon tasting sweets, tea sandwiches and other savories along with freshly brewed teas and punch. Guests can play croquet, skittles or quoits, sing around the piano or let a butler pamper them.

King will be on hand to answer questions and talk about the estate.

Guests receive a vintage photo as a memento and can have a handwriting analysis for a donation.

Tickets are $55 per person and sales are limited. No tickets will be available at the door. To purchase tickets, call or visit the Kaua‘i Historical Society at 245-3373. Email for more information.
