Happy Camper for Saturday, August 13, 2011

Congratulations to Royden Yamamoto who was named the Kaua‘i district manager for Times Supermarket, and Filmer Agcaoili who was named the director for the Lihu‘e (er, Kukui Grove) store by Bob Stout, president of Times Supermarket, during the dedication of the ‘Ele‘ele store.

Doug Miyamoto, recently finishing second in his division during the Koloa Plantation Days Paddlefest, was busy with his Team KonaRed duties, not only passing out samples (it tastes really good, super cold!), but also presenting Mariko Strickland who won Saturday’s Na Pali Paddle on her stand up paddle board.

Ralph Suniga (he had some Coke Zero samples) said he’s going to the Kaua‘i High School pre-season football game this weekend, and Dr. Monty Downs (he was at the Panda Express fundraiser, Tuesday) said he’s also going to Aloha Stadium to watch Kapa‘a play Kalani.

Miles Tanabe (last time seen on a Segway at the Westin Princeville) was busy with Aloha Shoyu samples, and kudos should go to all the Times Big Save directors and associates on a great job!
