Jessica Musicar skated her first bout for the Garden Island Renegade Rollerz, Saturday, joining the local favorites as a Rainbow.
Kanoe Ahuna, the lead jammer for the Shamrocks, said while some of the GIRR skaters will be in Arizona for the Dust Bowl tournament, the other GIRR skaters will be walking (skating?) in the March for Babies, Saturday. See you folks at the pre-event, Thursday at Rob’s Good Times Grill.

Out in Waimea, Tommy Rita discovered TGI on his iPad and is thrilled to find pictures with “The Happy Camper.” Tommy was at the volleyball game between Waimea and Kapa‘a, Friday night.
Esther Shigeta had more of her sweet potato mochi available at the Kapa‘a High School baseball game, and the spaghetti looked and smelled really good, but Steven Carvalho was stuck with the sweet li hing mui from the Waimea volleyball.
There’s a single playoff game, Wednesday at Vidinha Stadium for the first round of KIF baseball between Kaua‘i and Waimea. Let’s hope the light holds out.
