LIHU‘E — Keniann Takaki, 39, with a last known address in Kailua Kona on the Big Island, has three outstanding arrest warrants from the Big Island with a total bail of $12,000.
She tops this week’s list of the Kaua‘i Police Department’s Most Wanted, as Big Island police have requested KPD assistance to locate and arrest Takaki, who is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 115 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Takaki was found guilty in the Big Island’s 3rd Circuit of third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, bail jumping and unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle in three separate cases from 2005. She was given 124 days in prison and five years of probation in a case where she was granted a deferred acceptance of guilty plea.
That meant no significant prison time as long as she stayed on the right side of the law.
On June 14 of this year a motion was granted to revoke probation and the DAG plea and re-sentence her for the 2005 crimes.
But Big Island police think she has left that island and may be on Kaua‘i.
This year, she pleaded not guilty to intentionally choking one of her family members, also on the Big Island.
This is not the first time Takaki has made the Kaua‘i Most Wanted list. She was on the list the week of June 6 as well.
Lanikai Kanahele, 24, is a Native Hawaiian with a last known address in ‘Ele‘ele. He is 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 300 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair and is wanted on three bench warrants for a total bail of $3,000: criminal contempt of court (two counts) and revocation or modification of probation.
Joshua N.K. Wong-Pedronan, 27, is Chinese with a last known address in Hanama‘ulu, is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. He is wanted on a single bench warrant for failure to appear in court, and his bail is $1,800.
Irwin Santiago, 32, is Portuguese, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes and a last known address in Hanama‘ulu. He is wanted on a grand jury bench warrant for second-degree trespassing, fourth-degree theft and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. His total bail is $1,100.
Clifford Lee Makana Henderson, 23, is white, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 245 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair and a last known address in Kaumakani, and may have a goatee. He is wanted on a grand jury warrant for second-degree theft, and his bail is $1,000.
