Kaua‘i Seniors Golf tournament
The Kaua‘i Seniors Golf Club will be holding its second quarterly tournament on Saturday, May 29 at the Wailua Golf Course.
All senior golfers with an established handicap reaching 50 years of age by Dec. 31, 2010 are welcome to come and join in on the fun.
The tournament entry fee is $9, while annual dues cost $8. Sign-ups will run until 5 p.m. on May 19, after which there will be a $3 late-entry fee assessed.

Summer Tennis & Swim
Camp in Hanalei
The Club at Hanalei Bay is now accepting registration for its Summer Tennis & Swim Camp. There are one-week camps, the first running from May 31 to June 4, while the final week will run from July 26-30.
Camp times run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day and ages range from 6 to 13.

Hanalei Open Water Swim
Namolokama Canoe Club will be having its 4th Annual Hanalei Bay Open Water Swim on July 31.
The event is for keiki and adults, with a 1/2-mile, 1-mile and 2-mile swim, as well as the youth pier swim.

Girls softball
tournament in Hilo
The Women’s Slow Pitch JACKPOT Tournament will be held June 5-6 in Hilo at Walter Victor Stadium.
The event will be hosted by the Nobu Yamauchi RBI Girl’s Softball Team, who are sponsored by the Boys & Girls Club of the Big Island and Major League Baseball.
Entry fee is $300 per team, with prizes awarded to the top four finishing teams — $1,000 for first, $500 for second, $250 for third, with fourth place TBA.
The event is a fundraiser for the girls team that has made it to the RBI World Series three times, but will have to travel to and compete in the Compton, Calif. regional tournament.
Funds will go towards helping the team attend in July.
