Princeville Prince Golf Course Director of Golf Steve Murphy, PGA, was the recipient of the Horton Smith Award at the recent Hawaii Golf Ho‘olaule‘a Awards. The awards event took place Jan. 15 at the Hawai‘i Convention Center on O‘ahu. The Horton Smith Award gives special recognition to an individual PGA Professional for outstanding and continuing contributions to professional education.
Murphy has been with Princeville Prince Golf Course for six years and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Aloha Section PGA. He was recently featured in The Golf Channel’s travel series, Destination Golf, hosted by Lauren Thompson, which highlighted Hawaii’s ultimate golf getaways.
