Ricky-Jay Pascual
Ricky-Jay Pascual of Mount Auburn died Nov. 4, 2009, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids at age 19. Born on Jan. 19, 1990, in Lihu‘e, he was a student at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Lint.
He is survived by his father Billie Lint Sr. of Mount Auburn; biological parents Edgar Pascual of Greene and Nancy Nadzam of Rochester, Pa.; stepfather David Nadzam of Rochester, Pa.; stepmother Carly Chesnut of Waverly; grandparents Mila and Jerry Pascual of Greene and Salvador and Felicidad Bacsain of Lihu‘e; sisters Tiffany Pascual of Rochester, Pa.; Jamie Slagenweit of Cedar Rapids, Jesteny and Shelena Pascual of Waverly and Jasmine Wong of Rochester, Pa.; brothers Joseph (Gail) Ruzicka of Waterloo; Jimmi-Jon Lint of Mount Auburn, Justin Nadzam and Ryan Nadzam of Rochester, Pa.; uncles Charles Pascual of Greene and Chris Bacsain of Lihu‘e; aunts Lucia Bacsain of Lihu‘e, Mena Brissett of Lihu‘e, Mary Bacsain of Lihu‘e and Grace Bacsain of Lihu‘e; nephews Eli and Tanner Ruzicka; niece Kyra Nicgorski of Rochester, Pa.
Services were held in Iowa.

Pikake Navarro
Pikake Navarro of Kapa‘a died Nov. 7, 2009, at Straub Hospital at age 66. Born on June 1, 1943, in Nanakuli, she was a retired chef for Wailua Marina Restaurant.
She is survived by her spouse Christino Navarro; children Randy Aglia, James Aglia, Noelani (Betty) Aglia, Ivan Navarro, Christie Glendon, Sandy (Kurt) Oshiro and Renee (Robert) Navarro; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sisters Lynette M. Ah Sui, Wendy Velera and Kelly Jean Omerod; brothers Luise Omerod and John Omerod.
Service at 3 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 13, at Nanakuli Beach Park. Scattering of ashes to follow. Casual attire is suggested.
George Bobiles
George B. Bobiles of San Jose, Calif., died Oct. 9, 2009, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Santa Clara, Calif., at age 61. Born on June 11, 1948, in Waimea, Kaua‘i, he was a floral designer for Micheals.
He was preceded in death by his parents Angel Bobiles and Carlina Bobiles.
He is survived by his children Tanya (Isaiah) Martinez, Danielle (Jeff) Marchent, Erin (Marnelle) Sheriff, Sam (Kim) Bobiles and Dominic Bobiles; 10 grandchildren; siblings Angela (Terrance) Parker, Allen (Nieves) Bobiles, Marilyn (Jace) Bobiles, Jeffrey (Vanessa) Bobiles; long time friends Antonio Radilla and Rueben Martinez of San Jose, Calif.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles and cousins.
Services were held in San Jose, Calif., on Oct. 10, 2009.
Services on Kaua‘i will be private.
