Adatchie “Dutchie” Kalehuamakanoenoe Eaton of Kalaoa, Hawai‘i died Aug. 28, 2009, at age 56. Born on March 1,1953, in Honolulu, he was a maintenance supervisor for Kona Ace Hardware stores.
He is survived by sons Kalehuamakanoenoe Manuia, Kananiokeaupunimalamalama Manuia and ‘Ainoa Kaiaokamalie Manuia all of Ola‘a; sister Nani (Wayne Revilla) Eaton-Revilla of Honolulu; brothers Thomas (Pikake) Eaton of Honolulu, Joseph Keanu of Keaau, Kalehua (Junal) Perry of Kailua-Kona, Thomas Weber of Kekaha, Kaua‘i; grandson Maurice Kainoa of Anchorage; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Makaeo (Old Kona Airport) Pavilions 1 and 2. Casual attire is requested and flowers are welcome.

Ralph Morando
Ralph Morando of Koloa died Sept. 13, 2009, at age 71. Born on May 30, 1938, in New York, he was a prototype machinest.
He was preceeded in death by his parents Ralph and Jessie Morando.
He is survived by his wife Sheila Morando of Kaua‘i, sons Mark (Brenda) Morando of Kaua‘i, Stephen (Ohua) Morando of Maui, brothers Anthony (Sharon) Morando of New York and Donald (Andrea) Morando of New York, sister Rosemary Morando of Pennsylvania, grandsons Jason Morando of Santa Barbara, Calif., Ka‘upena and Nakulu‘ai Morando of Pukalani, Maui, and Ka‘iola Farin of Honolulu.
Celebration of life and scattering of ashes to be held at a later date.

Gwendolyn Rose Bargamento died Sept. 13, 2009, at age 74. She was born on Nov. 4, 1934, in Honolulu.
She was preceded in death by her parents Louis P. Mahelona and Rosella Mahelona; brothers Ronald Mahelona, Stephen Mahelona and Alan Mahelona.
She is survived by her husband Segundino “Glenn” Bargamento; sons Rodney (Linda) Bargamento of Puhi, Ken (Roberta) Bargamento of Kapa‘a and Lyle Bargamento of Kekaha; daughters Debra (Scott) Henton of Wailua, Brenda (John) Keating of Culver City and Vera Bargamento of Kalaheo; grandchildren Bryson Jackson, Anela (Ikaika) Bargamento, Linaka (Kaina) Turalde, Beau Henton, Lokene Bargamento, Cameron Bargamento and Elisha Tsubakihara; great-grandchildren Dylan Langley, Coen Langley and Kaelee Turalde; brothers Louis (Janice) Mahelona, Charles (Karen) Mahelona and John (Sue) Mahelona; sisters Barbara (Pete) Leota, Merrill (Clay) Yonehara and Vivan (Jerry) Almeida.

Lillian Kouchi
Lillian Marie Kouchi died Sept. 13, 2009, at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital at age 80. Born on Dec. 7, 1928, in Waimea, she was a house wife and co-owner of Kouchi Rentals and Jack Service.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Y. Kouchi; her parents John Rapozo Sr. and Marianna Duarte Rapozo; her brothers Frank Rapozo, John Rapozo Jr., George Rapozo and Joesph Rapozo; her sisters Margret Cremer and Marion Skivington.
She is survived by her daughter Marlese (Barney) Malicki of Kalopa, Hawai‘i; her son Steve Kouchi of California and Hanai son Howard (Pat) Nalimalie of ‘Oma‘o; grandchildren Justene Malicki, Braiden Malicki and Jyrus Malicki; one great-grandchild Keegan Malicki; her brother Adam Rapozo of Pakala; her sister Betty Woodward of Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 3 to 4 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 24, at Waimea Foreign Church, located next to Waimea High School. Services to follow; casual attire is suggested.
