Jeanne Corbett
Jeanne Claire Corbett of Kapa‘a died on June 5, 2009 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. Born on April 11, 1945 in Manchester, N.H., she was an accomplished Lauhala weaver.
She was preceded in death by parents George (Bob) and Louise Beauparlant.
She is survived by husband John; daughter Jesse; son Joseph; brother Arthur (Bill) and Donna Beauparlant; nieces Lynn, Ann, Carol, Christine; nephews James and Peter, and numerous other family members and loved ones.
A memorial service will be held at Kapa‘a First Hawaiian Church at 10 a.m., on Saturday, June 20.
Ruford Nacino
Ruford V. Nacino of Kalaheo died on June 5, 2009 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 42. Born on May 13, 1967 in Waimea, he was a deckhand with P & M Marine Services.
He was preceded in death by father Ruperto Nacino.
He is survived by mother Juliana Nacino; sisters Juliet Nacino of Kailua, Kona, Janet Nacino of Portland, Ore., Joan Nacino (Ken Pollet) of Honolulu; nephew Chandler Nacino and niece Reina Nacino.
Visitation from 9-11 a.m., mass at 11 a.m., on June 20, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo. Reception/fellowship to follow from 12-2 p.m. Casual attire suggested.

Jovencio Lopez Jr. of Kapa‘a, died on May 28, 2009 at Straub Hospital at age 47. He was born on May 30, 1961 in Candon City, Philippines.
He was preceded in death by his father Jovencio Lopez Sr.
He is survived by his mother Anastacia Lopez; sisters Lolita Viernes of the Philippines, Lilian (Samson) Lozano of the Philippines, Luisita (Larry) Imperial of the Philippines, Lalaine (Juanito) Rabaino of Wailua; brothers Dominador Lopez of Kapa‘a and Geoffrey (Stacy) Lopez of Wailua; numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing from 6-9 p.m., June 26, at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary.
Visitation at 8 a.m., mass at 10 a.m., June 27, at St. Catherine’s Church. Burial to follow at Lihu‘e Cemetary.
Hisao Munechika
Hisao Munechika of Waimea, Kaua‘i, died on May 31, 2009 at Nanamua Hale at age 83.
Born on March 9, 1926 in Pakala, he was a veteran, Commissioner for the Department of Land and Natural Resources and proprietor of Kitamura Fish Market and Munechika Ice.
He was preceded in death by parents Kosaku Munechika and Masako Munechika-Kitamura, wife Sumiyo Munechika and sister Amy Awtry.
He is survived by son Ken K. Munechika of Honolulu; daughter Karen Hatley of Spokane, Wash.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers Yukimitsu Munechika of Japan, Noboru (Michie) Munechika of Puhi, Maurice (Judy) Munechika of Lihu‘e, Ken (Grace) Munechika of Aiea, George (Beryl) Kitamura of Arizona, James (Susie) Kitamura of Kekaha, Lawrence (Sharon) Kitamura of Waimea, Kaua‘i; sisters Edith Iwami of Honolulu, Amelia Uyehara of Los Angeles, Calif. and Linda Yasutake of Honolulu.

Fanchon Kuehl
Fanchon Louise Kuehl of Lihu‘e, died on June 16, 2009 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and was a volunteer at Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her husband Richard Kuehl of Lihu‘e and daughter Christine Derrough of Italy.
Services will be held at San Francisco Episcopal Church, in San Francisco, at a later date.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Kuehl family with arrangements.
Helen Lacro
Helen Satsuki Lacro of Mililani, O‘ahu, died on May 31, 2009 at Wahiawa General Hospital at age 80. Born on May 10, 1929 in Honolulu, she was a retired registered nurse at Queen’s Medical Center.
She is survived by husband John Lacro; daughter Karen Lacro; son George Lacro; brothers Ellsworth (Debra) Numazawa of Kaua‘i, Dellick (Lori) Numazawa of Kaua‘i; sisters Eloise (Earl) Demas of Kaua‘i, Cheryle (James) Dixon of Colorado, Janet Paulos; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, June 19, at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. 11:30 a.m., program; 12 p.m., prayer service. 12:30 p.m., burial at Mililani Memorial Park.

Barbie Chang of Kalaheo, died on June 11, 2009 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 45. She was born on Feb. 1, 1964 in Honolulu.
She was preceded in death by her father Charles K. Chang.
She is survived by companion Frank Lopes; sons Ho ano‘aiwa Brun, Ka‘ahu a Kamehanui Brun, Ohia‘kukalani Brun, all of Kaua‘i; hanai daughters Frankie Lopes, Kailana Lopes and Kyla Lopes; one grandchild; mother Mary Jane Chang; brother Charles Kaupili Chang of Kaua‘i; sisters Laurie Change, Cheri Matsusaka and Wendy Chang.

Clayton F. Jensen of Kapa‘a, died on June 15, 2009 in Honolulu, at age 54. Born in Bell, Calif., he was the owner of Clayton Construction.
He is survived by his wife Beth Jensen, son Eric S. Jensen, daughter Sheena R.P. (Chad) Adams, brother Theron Jensen and sister Althea (Jerry) Bennett.

Lambert Keolalani Kaiminaauao of Koloa, died on June 16, 2009 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 58. Born on Jan. 29, 1951 in Honolulu, he was a retired commercial driver.

Anthony Torio of Kilauea, died on June 5, 2009 at Straub Hospital at age 52. He was a dedicated worker for 30 years at Kilauea Agronomics (Guava Kai).
He was preceded in death by father Nicomedes E. Torio Sr., mother Maggie K. Torio and brother Nicomedes E. Torio Jr.
He is survived by brothers James (Marie) Torio Sr. of Anahola, Soloman (Joan) Torio of Anahola, Thomas Torio of Kilauea; sister Lynette M. Viluan of Kilauea; eight nieces and nephews; 14 great-nieces and nephews; many uncles, aunties, cousins and friends.
A memorial will be held in honor of his life at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, June 27, at Anini Beach Park.

Elsie Hoopii
Elsie Chong Hoopii died on May 27, 2009 in her home in Kealia at age 80. Born on July 30, 1928, she was a retired assistant manager of Plantation Hale.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Healaniku Hoopii Sr.
She is survived by her daughter Healani (Gordon) Sanchez, son John (Mapuana) Hoopii Jr., brothers Herman Chong and Albert (Joycelin) Chong), sisters Pearl Silva and Mary Jane Akana, 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m., on June 27, at the Hoopii residence located at 2399 Kamole Road, in Kealia.
