Louis Hanohano died on Nov. 18, 2008, at Hale Makua, Kahalui, Maui, at the age of 95.
Born on Aug. 3, 1913, in Lawai, Kaua‘i, he was a retired industrial mechanic and a licensed minister.
He was preceded in death by wife Joyce Nakamura Hanohano.
Survived by daughters Vivian (Jacob) Kamibayashi of Wailuku, Maui, Maude (John) Cumming of Pukalani, Maui, sons Daniel of Sacramento, Calif., Nathan (Deby) of Antioch, Calif., Kenneth of Pukalani, Maui, hanai daughter Elli (Pulou) Kirifi of Kihei, Maui, 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Kapa‘a Assembly of God Church from 1:30 p.m. (no viewing) with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. on Dec. 21.
Funeral services were previously held at King’s Cathedral on Maui with burial at Valley Isle Memorial Park in Haiku.
Arrangements were handled by Borthwick Maui Mortuary
Sachiko Yoshimo died on Dec. 11, 2008, at the Garden Isle HealthCare at the age of 98.
Born on Feb. 22, 1910 in North Kohala, Hawai‘i, she was a cook at Lawai Restaurant.
She was preceded in death by husband Hakaru Yoshimoto.
Survived by sister Izumi Shirai; nieces Janice (Mark) Maehata and Sandra (Ray) Seibert; nephews, Clyde (Shirley) Shirai and Myles (Julie) Shirai.
Services will be held from 5 p.m. on Dec. 18 at Koloa Union Church
Casual attire is suggested and flower donations are optional.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
Cameryn Lynnrose Farslow of Kapa‘a died on Dec. 7, 2008. She was born on Sept. 3, 2008, on Kaua‘i.
Survived by mother Cyndi Andrews; father Brandon Farslow; siblings, Jacob and Alexie Farslow; paternal grandparents, Dawn Cantrell and Sam Kitch; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Teresa Franklin and Tim Andrews; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Farslow family with arrangements.
