The county states that Kaua‘i‘s water meets all of the Environmental Protection Agency’s guidelines for safe drinking water and any contaminants found during testing were well below the highest levels allowed by the EPA.
The Safe Water Drinking Act, a federal law, requires water utilities to provide water quality information to its customers every year.
