Registration and sponsors for the 24th Annual Central Pacific Bank/The Arc of Kaua‘i Golf Tournament is currently being accepted.
June 22 is the date for the annual tournament, but golfers need to register before June 6. Golfers who register before the deadline get an extra mulligan.
Mulligans are available for $5 each with a maximum of three.
Registration for the tournament at the Po‘ipu Bay Golf Course will start at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
Tournament format is a two-person team, best ball with 80 percent handicap. The maximum handicap for men is 36, and for women 40 before reduction.
Entry fee for the tournament is $95 per person and includes lunch, cart and green fees.
An optional $10 qualifies the golfer for a Closest to the Pin contest on all four of the par 3 holes at the Po‘ipu Bay Golf Course.
Cash prizes will be presented to winners in the A, B and Women Flights with a large screen TV sponsored by Wal-Mart being this year’s grand prize drawing.
Sponsorships include a $125 fee for a hole sponsor and $300-499 earning a Bronze Sponsor award. Silver sponsorships include contributions between $500 to $699, and Gold Sponsor levels being from $700 to $999.
A Platinum Sponsor gets two complimentary players for a contribution of $1,000 to $1,999, and a Diamon Sponsor gets four complimentary players for contributions of $2,000 and more.
Last year’s tournament raised $38,000 which helped more than 109 children and adults with developmental disabilities being provided with services and assistance.
This year’s goal hopes to match last year’s goal so the Arc of Kaua‘i can continue to improve and expand services to children and adults with developmental disabilities.
