Teodora “Doring” G. Ganal
Teodora “Doring” G. Ganal of Lihu‘e died on March 2, 2008, at the Wilcox Memorial Hospital, at the age of 70. Born Aug. 2, 1937, in Tarlac, Philippines, she was a laundry worker in Kaua‘i.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Juanito Ganal; brother Jose Guzman; sisters Maurica Rapada and Victoria Solliven; brother-in-law Dinisio Ganal; and sisters-in-law Lina Badua, Violeta dela Cuesta, Estrella Ganal and Lyn Badua.
Visitation with family will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 17, at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall. Family and friends are also welcomed from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, at the Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. A funeral service will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the chapel. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. at the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park Cemetery in O‘ahu.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home and Williams Funeral Services are assisting the Ganal family with arrangements.
Steven Leroy Farmer
Steven Leroy Farmer of Honolulu passed away at Wilcox Hospital on Feb. 29, 2008, at the age of 64. Born in Koloa, he was a customer service agent with Hawaiian Airlines.
He is survived by his mother, Harriet Iseri, brothers Robert (Toni) Farmer and Neal (Alison) Iseri, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, at the Garden Island Mortuary chapel. A service officiated by Rev. Kauilani Kahalekai will begin at 10 a.m. Casual attire is suggested and the family asks that flowers omitted.

Constance Knudsen
Constance Knudsen of Lawa‘i passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on March 2, 2008, at the age of 66. Born in Hibbing, Minn., on December 29, 1942, she was a social worker in various locations throughout the United States.
She grew up in Chisholm, Minn., and attended the University of Minnesota, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in social work.
She is survived by her husband, Col. Jerald Knudsen; son Kraig (Cara) of Knudsen of Columbus, Ohio; daughter Kelly Knudsen of Lawa‘i; granddaughter Megan Walsh of Lawa‘i; and brother Clyde Ekar.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association. Services are private. Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
