Dean Nakayama got to spend his Super Sunday in Las Vegas, but there’s been no time to see if he won or not. In the meantime, if you want scones, check out Lei’s cranberry creations … and mahalo to Jeanelle Chow for those Valentine peeps.
In the meantime, Lenny Rapozo and Cecil Gee were checking out the talent in the 12 and Under games Monday night. The Gee’s Angels got to fly over the Ha‘aheo, but it was nice to see Wailua cheering on the pinkshirts. Then, when it was time for coach Talbert Tacbian’s team to take the floor, it was the pinkshirts cheering for Wailua.
Greg Gonsalves got to bring his daughter and Pua Belmonte is expanding her horizons beyond the Chamber office and cheerleading. Rene Tokuda had her whole family in tow for the event as well.
Hats off to Susan Pittman and her family for hosting another successful Souper Bowl Sunday event at Clayworks at Kilohana.
Congratulations to Eugene Punzal (he’s more than Moses’ dad) on daughter Mari’s signing with the UH women soccer team! Too bad all those things are on O‘ahu.
If you’ve got time Friday, check out the KIF basketball game in Kapa‘a … you might be on OC16 when it telecasts the game statewide. Tipoff is 5 p.m., and OC16 ads say the broadcast starts at 7 p.m.
