Tomie Sanoo Inouye
Tomie “Lillian” “Tomi-Chan” Sanoo Inouye of Lihu‘e, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on June 7, 2006, at the age of 82. Born in Waimea on Oct. 28, 1923, she was a medical technician aide with Waimea Dispensary.
She is survived by her husband, Kiyoshi; son, Stanford Inouye of Aiea, O‘ahu; daughter, Diane Fukuyama of Lihu‘e; three grandchildren; sister, Hamae Ijima of Kekaha; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 17 at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel; service officiated by Rev. Hashimoto will begin at 11 a.m. Casual attire is suggested and that flowers be omitted.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
Joseph Andrade
Joseph “Uncle Joe” Andrade of Waimea died June 2 in Waimea at the age of 86. Andrade was born Oct. 29, 1919, in Waimea.
Andrade was preceeded in death by niece Virginia Andrade Ruiz.
He is survived by two grand-neices, one grand-nephew, three brothers, a sister and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, june 17 at St. Theresa’s Parish in Kekaha. Visitation with his family is at 9 a.m., and funeral mass follows at 10 a.m. Casual attire is suggested.

John James Dacuycuy
John James “JJ” Dacuycuy died at Nukoli‘i Beach May 7, 2006, at the age of 16. Born Aug. 16, 1989, on Kaua‘i, he was a junior at Kapa‘a High School and worked at Lemongrass Grill.
He is survived by parents Romy and Esther Dacuycuy; sisters Rochelle and Nicole Dacuycuy; grandmothers Cressencia Llego, Rosalina Dacuycuy, Mayrose Cadiz and Ofelia Manibog and his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He will be remembered June 17 at St. Catherine Church, with family visitation from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. and mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire is reccomended. A scattering service will follow at Nukoli‘i Beach.
