The Red Raider golf teams took home the team titles, but they weren’t satisfied with the two trophies, as they claimed the individual titles with Miki Ueoka claiming the girls championship and Chad Nonaka garnering the boys top spot.
The final match of the season at the Wailua Golf Course yesterday, also handed out state invitations.
Nonaka, along with teammates Nikko Tacsiat, Kellen Watabu, Mike Garcia, and Wiley Yoshioka will be heading to O’ahu.
In the meantime, a group of other golfers battled for the last three at-large state bids, with Kula’s Cyrus Ogawa, Kaua’i’s Cory Oride and Kapa’a’s Jet Levinthol getting the nod.
Ueoka and teammates Rae-Lyn Morikawa, Kristi Rapozo, and Angel Miyake made it to states.
Other individual qualifiers include Waimea’s Leslyn Ibara and Kapa’a’s Malia Saiki and Cheyene Barretto.

The boys state golf tournament is being held on O’ahu at the Turtle Bay Palmer Course on May 15-17.
The girls head to states on May 8-10 at the Turtle Bay Fazio Course.
