Qi Center cooking class is free

If you have ever wondered what a “wolfberry” is or how big a “pinch of Buddha hand” could be, attend the Qi Cooking Class for Healthy Hearts Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m..

According to a press release the Qi Center Kauai invites anyone to attend the Qi Cooking Class for Healthy Hearts. This is a chance to learn about natural foods with demonstrations of easy recipes for delicious meals and tasty snacks with the ancient Chinese knowledge of healing foods states the release. Samples will be served.

Grandmaster Hong has researched specific natural foods and recipes that will help to balance heart energy. They will also help to reduce cholesterol and triglycerides, clean the blood, soften blood vessels, balance blood pressure and reduce stress with no side effects, states the release. The Qi Center will also present information about herbal supplements that are an effective way to bolster energies that the body is lacking. People with cardiovascular diseases need to detoxify, increase blood circulation and bolster immune systems.

Grandmaster Hong has designed a program based on natural healing experience and research to help prevent and rehabilitate cardiovascular disease.

This program is composed of natural food recipes, reflexology exercises, herbal supplements and medical Qi Gong exercises to reduce cholesterol and triglycerides levels, clean and soften blood vessels, balance blood pressure and reduce stress. It also focuses on improving lifestyle and is easy to do, according to the release, with no side effects relative to heart disease medications. This recipe is primarily for cardiovascular and also good for balancing internal organ energy.
