Bernardino Suetos, Jr.
Bernardino “Dino” or “Jerry” Suetos, Jr. of Reno, Nev., died May 26, 2005, at his home at the age of 56.
Born Feb. 6,1949, on Kaua‘i, he is survived by his wife: Corazon of Reno; one brother: Pedro “Larry” (Adelina) Paet and sister: Lydia (Fortunato) Rebugio and brothers-in-law: Rene, Gil and Noli; sisters-in-law: Florida and Evelyn; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Services were held June 2, at the Walton Funeral Home followed by Mass service on June 3, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and interment at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery in Reno, Nev.
Manuel James Rapozo
Manuel James Rapozo of Lihu‘e, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on July 3, 2005, at the age of 99.
Born in Kealia on April 8, 1906, he was a retired supervisor with Lihue Plantation.
He is survived by his wife, Rose A. Rapozo; two sons, Stephen (Talina) Rapozo of Wisconsin and Thomas Rapozo of Washington state; two daughters, Veronica Butler of Lihu‘e and Maxine (Gene) Mills of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Josephine Eisenbeis of California; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, July 11, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; Mass officiated by Father John Bitterman will begin at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Kauai Memorial Gardens. Casual at-tire is suggested and flowers omitted.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
