Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 14, for former Kaua’i‘ resident Mildred Miller, who died April 29, 2005, at the age of 99. Services will begin at 5 p.m. at Lihu‘e Cemetery behind the mill. Anyone wanting to say a few words is more than welcome.
Evelyn Labogen
Evelyn Nieves Sakae Labogen of Las Vegas, died July 2, 2005, at the age of 66.
An employee of the Las Vegas Review Journal, she is survived by her husband: William, formerly of Kilauea; daughter: Eva Marie; sons: James and Nathan; four grand-children; sisters: Emmaline Baker, Thelma (Willard) Maxwell, Ernell (David) Ono, Jeannie (Johnny) Ibarra, Theresa (Jerry) Moore, and Johnnareen Ramirez; and brothers: John (Michelle) and Lawrance (Lina) Teanio.
There will be two memorial services. The first will be held on Saturday, July 16, at 1:30 p.m. at St. John Neumann, 2475 W. El Campo Grande Avenue, North Las Vegas, Nev.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, Aug. 19, at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Michael, 67-390 Goodale Avenue, Waialua, O‘ahu. Inurnment will be at 2 p.m. at the Punchbowl National Cemetery of the Pacific.
Casual Hawaiian attire is suggested. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
